The Angel is the best place in Pershore to hold a special event. We regularly host private parties, dining events and weddings.
We are an approved wedding ceremony venue with a registered license for civil ceremonies and marriages. The Angel is also the only place in Pershore that gives you the opportunity to exclusively hire a beautiful marquee with stunning riverside views, including a private bar and a number of catering options tailored to your exact requirements. No event is too big or too small, and with a hotel of 20 bedrooms on site, a late bar available on request and free parking, we take care of all your needs.

The Banking Hall
Wedding and Events Venue
In April 2022, we celebrated the opening of our new premium venue: The Banking Hall. This newly-renovated former bank combines the Georgian history of the building with contemporary design to create a luxury events space. The Banking Hall features a main banqueting hall, a private bar, a separate meeting room in the former bank manager’s office, and access to our courtyard and garden. Just next door to The Angel, functions hosted here receive the same high-quality service expected at The Angel.
Weddings
Licensed for civil ceremonies and weddings, with large, picturesque riverside gardens, we provide the perfect venue for your special day.
Private Dining
We are unique in Pershore in having two purpose-built private dining rooms, perfect for parties, meetings and special occasions.
Seasonal Menus
Menus based on our philosophy of sourcing the very best of local produce, including from our own Farm. We focus on traditional, high-quality British food.

We cater to the needs of businesses and organizations with a variety of services. Our Cider Room provides an ideal setting for meetings, offering a comfortable and professional environment. For conferences, large meetings, and social events, our restaurant and Gin Room serve as excellent venues with ample space and amenities. Alternatively, you can opt for a unique corporate day experience by hiring a marquee in our picturesque riverside gardens, providing a serene backdrop of Shakespeare’s River Avon.
