Our summer evenings return to the courtyard — and they’re better than ever.

Soak up those golden sunsets in our Courtyard Garden as talented local musicians set the tone every Friday night, creating the perfect laid-back atmosphere.

Music begins at 7pm, but you’re welcome to arrive earlier, settle in, and ease into the evening at your own pace.

Performances run until around 9:30pm, and you’re invited to stay and enjoy the ambience right through to closing.

New for 2026, we’re introducing an outdoor kitchen, serving up something special each week. Our kitchen team are currently fine-tuning the menu, and we’ll be sharing all the delicious details very soon.

Pershore Plum Festival Quiz Night

FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST

Start your bank holiday weekend with an evening of fun and friendly competition on Friday 28th August.

Gather your sharpest friends and join us in the courtyard garden for our evening quiz night. Teams can have up to 6 people, with entry priced at £10 per team in support of Pershore Plum Festival. Please note that entry fees are non-refundable.

Our courtyard garden bar will be open throughout the evening, with dinner, after-dinner and bar nibbles menus available to keep you refreshed and ready for the next round.

The quiz starts at 7:30pm, with arrivals welcome from 6:30pm. We anticipate finishing at approximately 9:30pm. There will be prizes for the overall winners, individual round winners, and even the team finishing at the bottom of the leader board.

Big Plum Cider Festival

SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST

Back by popular demand, our much-loved Cider Festival returns as part of the Pershore Plum Festival celebrations on Saturday 29th August.

The Angel Garden Bar will be serving an extensive selection of ciders, giving you the chance to sample a wide variety of flavours — including delicious plum cider in honour of Pershore’s local heritage.

Enjoy fantastic performances from talented local musicians throughout the day:

Set in our beautiful riverside garden, this outdoor event is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the summer atmosphere while taking in stunning views across the River Avon.

A range of food will also be available to purchase during the festival. Please note that only food and drink purchased on site may be consumed at the event, with the exception of infant food and drinks.

Entry is completely free and no booking is required. Gates open from 12 pm.

Big Plum Weekend

SUNDAY 30TH & MONDAY 31ST AUGUST

Our Big Plum Weekend Bank Holiday Music festival is back with a fantastic weekend of live entertainment.

Across two days, we’ll be welcoming six incredible local acts to perform in our beautiful riverside garden.

Yes you have read that right, we’re extending the celebrations with an extra hour pf music than previously on Bank Holiday Monday.

Come rain or shine, the festival will take place in our stunning riverside garden, offering the perfect setting to relax, enjoy live music and soak up the festival atmosphere.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the festival. Please note that only food and drink purchased from The Angel may be consumed on site, excluding infant food and drinks.

Entry is completely free and no booking is needed — simply turn up and enjoy the festivities.

Oktoberfest

SATURDAY 17th OCTOBER

Join the Celebration

The doors open at 7:00pm, so arrive early to soak up the atmosphere, grab a drink and settle in before the entertainment begins. The festivities will continue until around 11:00pm, giving you a full evening of Bavarian fun, live music and great company.

For the ultimate Oktoberfest experience, a limited number of Premium Tickets are available, offering reserved seating close to the stage and right at the heart of the action.

Garden Marquee

Our spacious Garden Marquee is the perfect setting for an unforgettable Oktoberfest. Covered and weatherproof, it provides plenty of room to eat, drink, sing and dance the night away, whatever the weather.

Bavarian Banquet

Every ticket includes a delicious Bavarian Banquet, featuring Slow-Cooked Pork Shoulder with Beer & Caraway, served in a Pretzel Bun with Rotkohl, plus a selection of traditional German snacks on arrival to get the celebrations started.

Drinks

No Oktoberfest would be complete without fantastic beer! The Angel Garden Bar will be open throughout the evening, serving a great selection of beers alongside wines, spirits and soft drinks. Don’t miss our famous four-pint beer jugs – they’re always a crowd favourite!

Live Music & Entertainment

The entertainment begins at 7:00pm with Luke Broughman, setting the mood for an incredible evening.

At 8:00pm, The Oompapas take to the stage to bring the true spirit of Oktoberfest to The Angel. Expect lively games, fun competitions, audience participation, action songs and sing-alongs to feel-good favourites including 500 Miles, YMCA and Sweet Caroline. Be prepared to sing, laugh and join in!

Fancy Dress

Fancy dress is completely optional, but it’s all part of the fun! Whether you arrive in full lederhosen or a traditional dirndl, or simply come along in your favourite outfit, you’ll be very welcome. If you’re looking for inspiration, a quick search for “Oktoberfest dress up” will give you plenty of ideas.

Bonfire Night

SATURDAY 31ST OCTOBER

Featuring live music, fire shows, bonfire lighting, fairground rides, and, of course, the all-important fireworks!
