The Big Plum 2018 – August Bank Holiday Weekend

Pershore’s biggest food, drink and music festival returns this August Holiday Weekend to The Angel Hotel’s riverside gardens.

It all kicks off from lunchtime on Saturday 25 August with local acts including our compere Micky Twonames. Our full bar and hot food will be available for you to enjoy our beautiful riverside gardens. Moving into the evening we have Pershore’s country and western sensation Chris Beard from 5.30pm, before our main Saturday event, the Perfect Vintage duo. They will be performing hits ‘Through the Decades’ from the 1950s to present day, with covers from artists including Elvis, Connie Francis and the Black Eyed Peas. It’s an event sure to spark some memories and get you dancing.

On Sunday we start again at lunchtime with music right throughout the afternoon including Bill Pullen, Paul J Rose and Nyonkonkroung. Then from 6pm it’s ticketed entry only (£4 for adults and £2 for children) as we have our fantastic firework display and then we welcome Pershore’s very own Black Knights and the Rave-on the DJ who’ll take us through to the end of the night.

Monday is Plum Day in Pershore and the music continues from 12.00pm featuring the ever popular Woo Town Hillbillies, Oujamaflip, and local singer-songwriter Tash.

Plus, on both Sunday and Monday we will be playing host to a variety of family games and activities, with water zorbs, a climbing wall, henna tattoos and inflatables.

Please note: On the evening of Sunday 26 we have our firework extravaganza which will be a ticketed event with a small cover charge of £4 for adults and £2 for children. The rest of the three-day event is completely free of charge and fully funded for the people of Pershore by The Angel Hotel.
