The second Bank Holiday in May is the time of the Pershore Carnival. The Angel Hotel is delighted to support this traditional, community event with two days of fun in our riverside garden with our all-weather grand marquee. Plus, it’s free entry all weekend.
There will be live music starting from 12pm on Sunday and 11.30am on Monday, with our bar serving a range of drinks including local ales and ciders. We will also be serving hot food from our own kitchen, including traditional burger made with locally-sourced meat. Our live music this year comes from old favourites such as the Woo Town Hillbillies, but also outstanding, new acts, such as singer-songwriter Abby Inez and one-man band Levi Washington. Check out his hits on Youtube.
Monday 27 May will, of course, be the Carnival itself, with the parade through the town centre and the festivities on the Abbey Park, including fireworks. At The Angel, it’s family fun day. As well as more live music and food and drink, there will be plenty of family activities for everyone to enjoy, including water zorbs, inflatables, and much more.
So join us to celebrate Pershore Carnival, an enjoyable weekend for the whole family. Find out more about the Carnival at the official website.
